The following is my latest message to Mathieu Mercier:
Hi Mathieu, so both the 2015 and 2019 editions are labeled ©2015 in the colophon? What is the difference then between the two editions? I'd just like to know (and make record of) which edition I now have. As to telling you more about me, I've decided to take your question and make it a regular feature of Duchamp After Unbekannt. Right now I'm about to enter what will probably be the last active decade of my life (b. 20 March 1956, Philadelphia). I've been producing art, almost entirely for myself, since 1983, the majority of which is documented at museumpeace.com. That said, I'm happy to now know your artwork as well. Yours truly, Steve

Outside of two Temple University Architecture Department Alumni Exhibitions 1983 and 1984 (both of which I took part in organizing); an exhibition of Anonymous Saint in Bikini While Jesus is Walking on Water and the Dark Shadows series in the "Tunnel" at Kurt's gay bar and disco, Philadelphia, Labor Day weekend 1985; various shows at Venue (my first DIY gallery), Philadelphia 1993-1994; and various shows at 451 Rhawn Gallery (my second DIY gallery) 2024-2025; the inclusion of The Timepiece of Humanity Gauge within the Star Vengeance exhibition at GES-2 House of Culture, Moscow, 19 October 2023 - 21 January 2024, is the only time, so far, that a work of mine has been exhibited in a bona fide institution of art. And, on that last note, I mean, how unbekannt can you get?

Warhol first saw a Lichtenstein painting in the back room at Castelli. He immediately saw the similarity with what he was doing at the same time (Popeye and Dick Tracy), but saw that Lichtenstein was doing it better, like "he even did the dots!" (or something like that).
Then Warhol went home to his mother and cried. Mrs. Warhola told me that herself. We used to collect stamps together in my basement. I traded my Poland for her Czechoslovakia. I painted her nude too. She said, "My Anditchko will kill you in the head!"
All three of us liked to dance to the Liechtensteiner Polka (mein Schatz) when we had a Rausch. eins zwei drei ...
Now they're watching reruns of the original Man Show.
