Using a postcard with a view of the town with fishing boats in the foreground (painted by Picasso in 1910), the church and their roof terrace, Marcel writes to Robert Lebel in Paris saying that he has heard much of Francis Picabia et 391, the "floundering" book, being prepared by Michel Sanouillet for Le Terrain Vague.
"Astonishing the inaccuracy," remarks Marcel referring to the short article by Jean Saucet published in Paris-Match on 18 June, which is peppered with factual errors and illustrated with the study for his famous Nude [18.3.1912] and the chronophotographic portrait of him by Eliot Elisofon [26.4.1952]. "Where are you? where are you going?" Marcel asks Lebel.
