In his weekly chess column Duchamp has selected an unpublished problem by J. Bokkm which is dedicated to Ce Soir, for his readers. Given the solution to the problem by André Chéron [12.3.1937], Duchamp comments on the game played by R. Spielmann and E. Zinner in the match Vienna and Brno. He announces that Alekhine is making a tour of provincial chess clubs in France before playing in the forthcoming international Tournament at Stockholm. The Cercle du Palais-Royal is resuming its sessions of simultaneous games which will be held on Sundays commencing at three o'clock.
