[r]evolution
So what has the realm of architecture [r]evolved into?
I believe it is a global truism that all culture, including architecture, is now a commodity. Architecture is a commodity, and the education of architecture is a commodity. Furthermore, even 'revolution' is now a commodity in that a revolution that 'makes it' is essentially a revolution that 'makes money'.
There are very few places where 'architecture' on an educational level is free.

Lequeu left a series od drawings which served as the first drafts of an [unbekannt] masterpiece by Marcel Duchamp, whose Dismountable Approximation will still remain obscure. Somewhere between Vienna and Philadelphia, between 1912 and 1966, the 'Duchamp-Lequeu, reciprocal Readymade' served, as Duchamp explained in 1934, as, 'a kind of rendezvous'. 'Le Rendezvous de Bellevue est à points du Rocher' [The rendezvous of Bellevue is on the tip of the rock], . . .
. . . invented and drawn by Jean-Jacques Lequeu, was coupled with the 'Vide-Bouteille du désert aride' [Drinking Den of the arid wilderness], . . .

. . . which was certainly the lost original of Duchamp's Porte-bouteille of Bottle Rack of 1914, and which was to become a structural, metaphorical element in Le Corbusier's Cité Radieuse.
Phillippe Duboy, Lequeu: An Architectural Enigma (1986), p. 101.
Isn't Munich 1912 "somewhere between Vienna and Philadelphia"?
